B4UBUILD.COM was founded in January 1997 by , a builder, designer, consultant and Internet enthusiast. With few exceptions, he is responsible for the text, photographs, original graphics, HTML coding and overall site design. Since 1976, Greg has been actively involved with residential design, construction and construction management. His experience includes work as a carpenter, landscape designer, project manager, construction manager, building designer, vice president of a luxury custom homebuilding company in Maryland and, since 1997, author, photographer, graphic designer, Internet publisher and Web developer.

The rest of the B4UBUILD.COM Team consists of a network of professional builders, architects, engineers, designers, marketing consultants, educators, lawyers, mortgage bankers, building consultants, individual homeowners with no direct ties to the home building industry, friends, family members, and you, the visitors to this Web site.

Whether you are a homeowner, builder, owner-builder, subcontractor or supplier, you can share your experiences with others so that they may better understand and enjoy their own construction project. Those of you who know first hand the highs and lows of building a new house can offer valuable information to others.
